LA Flower District will stay open 24 hours for Mother's Day

In anticipation of Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13, the LA Flower District will be extending its hours of operation. The California Flower Mall will be open 24 hours starting Saturday, May 12 at 4:30 a.m. The extended hours will be as follows:   

Los Angeles Flower Market and The Southern California Flower Market

Monday, May 7: 8 a.m. to noon
Tuesday, May 8: 6 a.m. to noon
Wednesday, May 9: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Thursday, May 10: 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Friday, May 11: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturday, May 12: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sunday, May 13: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Wednesday, May 9: 4:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursday, May 10: 4:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday, May 11: 4:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. 
Saturday, May 12: 4:30 a.m., open 24 hours through May 13, 2012 
Sunday, May 13: through 7 p.m. 

The Flower District will begin extending its hours on May 7 to accommodate Día de las Madres, Mexican Mother’s Day, traditionally held on May 10.

Pre-made arrangements will be available for purchase throughout the district, but for those of you looking to impress Mom with your own DIY arrangement we recommend learning the meaning of each flower to create a truly special gift for Mom. See below for flower significance and arrangement ideas.
