Manufacturer Spotlight: In-City Los Angeles

In-City Los Angeles is a wholesale vendor and manufacturer in the L.A. Fashion District. Their showroom, located at 807 E. 12th St., Unit 227, opened in 2010 as an extension of the family-owned manufacturing business. With over 30 years of experience in the garment manufacturing industry, In-City offers private label production and professional services for wholesalers and major retailers. Professional services include sketching, size grading, design, merchandising, and sourcing. They specialize in beading, appliques, hand embroidery, stitch work and sublimation.

In-City manufactures their own wholesale-only line. They are partnered with two factories overseas - one for knits and basics and the other for prints - allowing them to produce a full range of knits and provide factory-direct manufacturing and support for private label customers. For those not familiar with industry terms, private label means they can manufacture for other lines and brands. Some of In-City's private label customers include bebe, Victoria's Secret, Wet Seal, Playboy, and Arden B.

Though they no longer carry their own line of leather goods,  In-City's background is actually in leather manufacturing. They offer leather manufacturing services for private label and boast very capable facilities for complicated leather productions, one of their more notable clients being Karen Kane. In-City's leather manufacturing capabilities extend to handbags and accessories, and other leather goods based on customer requirements.
