On Monday, the California Market Center (CMC) kicked off LA Fashion Market Week with a little fashion show and Patron cocktails. We stopped by the event to mingle with buyers and see what our showrooms had in store for Market Week. The show included new lines as well as some of our CMC favorites. Check out what's in store for Spring '13 below. For more photos find us on Instagram @lafashiondistrict.
Our favorite of the night was Stop Staring! by Alicia Estrada. Stop Staring! is a retro chic line with amazing dresses and separates. Their silhouettes are timeless and the styles are gorgeous. Plus, everything is made in the USA.
Grace in L.A. Jeans is known for comfortable fitting jeans that contour to a woman's body. They specialize in pocket treatments and embellishments.
Mystree is a chic, young contemporary clothing line based in LA. The collection is best known for its tops and sweaters, but their Spring '13 collection included various dreamy, lace and sequin dresses.
Acoustic Denim is all about American-made denim, made right here, in the heart of LA. Acoustic is about being raw, original, without influence, and more importantly, it's about natural outcome from hard work.
Wrapping up the show was Buffalo David Bitton. A true denim staple, Buffalo jeans have been a big name in the denim industry since 1973.
It was a good show all around. We hope to see all our wholesale buyers there next time! Cheers!
