In Florida surprise afternoon rainstorms are a daily occurrence. Of course, they'd always seem to happen in between classes when I had to sprint across campus umbrella-less and soaked (you think i'd learn?!).
I've always loved the look of a classic trench, rain or shine and was totally inspired by this image of Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's. There is without a doubt something magical about the rain and getting caught in a spring storm.
I don't mind a rainy day. It's a chance to curl up with a good book indoors, (dying to read "The Perfectly Imperfect Home" & She Walks in Beauty) or frolic around outside with a pair of cute rainboots.
