In Peter Fetterman Gallery in Santa Monica was opened an exhibition of the legendary photographer Lillian Bassman. She became famous due to her ability to blend commercial and artistic techniques.Her photos looks more like paintings and reminds me about a Leonardo da Vinci ones. There we also saw that vague effect that fill photo with mystery. Known for manipulating images in darkroom, she created the photographs that are both elegant and avant-garde. I urge those who live in Santa Monica or even in the neighborhood to visit this exhibition. It is absolutely magnificent! Exhibition of works by Lillian Bassman at Peter Fetterman Gallery will run until June 9.
