Nicholas Bowes, a former contestant on NBC's Fashion Star, opened his first boutique near 8th and Spring Streets last week. The Australian designer, which many of you may remember from his dispute with Jessica Simpson, is bringing his infamous motorcycle jackets to the Fashion District. The apparel industry veteran is making his leather jackets available to both men and women. The boutique also carries men's and women's tops and tees and a selection of leather accessories.

Men's motorcycle jackets is various styles and  colors

Women's motorcycle jackets, tanks, and leather skirts

One of our favorite pieces were these leather mini skirts. We loved the distressed look and the super soft feel of the leather. It's sexy and tough, yet soft and feminine all at the same time.

Leather accessories included handbags, crossbody purses, clutches and hair accessories. Fringe and the "worn-out-look" were a popular theme for the accessories.

We're incredibly excited to see so much new activity on 8th Street and would like to extend a warm welcome to Mr. Bowes and his team. Welcome to the Fashion District!
