Marketing and PR Agency Opens in Fashion District

The Forte Duo: Rainier de Ocampo and Mark Quest

The Fashion District has seen a slew of new business open up shop in our neighborhood. From new restaurants and stores to Ace Hotel and the Sparkle Factory, not only is the district its business list, it’s diversifying its services as well. Among the newcomers to the district is Forte-The Collective, a marketing and PR agency specializing in female and minority-owned businesses. The agency offers a wide range of services including traditional and digital marketing, event promotion and media buying.

The Forte team is comprised of Rainier de Ocampo, formerly with the University Of Chicago Booth School Of Business and the Los Angeles Film School, and Mark Quest who worked as the Marketing/PR Manager for True Religion. The duo has marketing/PR experience in various fields ranging from education and fashion to entertainment, sports, and non-profit.

Forte moved to Fashion District for “the cool, young vibe of the district,” said de Ocampo. “We like the energy of downtown.”

While Forte plans to continue focusing on female and minority-owned business, they are interested in expanding their collaborations and partnerships to businesses in the Fashion District.

“One of the things that make us unique is our wide range of clients, and our ability to creatively cross-breed ideas across different industries,” said Mark Quest. Forte credits its ability to easily transition across different industries to its strong strategic thinking and development skills.

Forte’s client list includes the World of Dance Tour, the LA Brazilian Film Festival, taffy candy bar Abba Zaba, and LA-based artist Emma Ferreira’s latest work, Kiss of the Gypsy.

Welcome to the Fashion District guys!
