Trending: Western Style at D&A Los Angeles Fall 2012

We visited the Designers and Agents (D&A) Tradeshow at The New Mart Building earlier this week for a sneak peak at some Fall 2012 designer duds.

D&A is an independent, international trade fair of well-established and up-and-coming apparel, shoe, and accessory designers. The show is “pre-edited, art-directed, and merchandised to create a sense of camaraderie and discovery.”

After ogling the upcoming season’s must have’s from fashion favorites like Dolce Vita Footwear, Alexis Bittar, Genetic Denim, and Habitual, we began to notice a trend among many of the exhibitor booths: Western style jewelry and accessories.

From belts and bags to rings and necklaces the western-style showed a strong presence at D&A. Pictured above: Old Stud, an LA-Based up-and-comer, featured handmade studded belts and cutoffs, displayed on cowhides. Meanwhile, eco-friendly Alkemie showcased an array of antique-gold jewelry and accessories that reminiscent of the Wild Wild West Days.

We’re digging the rich dark brown hues, studs, and metallic chain jewelry. Still deciding on whether we’re ready to impersonate our inner cowboy...

The next D&A Los Angeles show will be held June 11-13.
