Miguel Torres Boutique Opens on 8th Street

Miguel Torres is celebrating the start of summer with a night sale and party tomorrow at his new location. The LA-based designer relocated his boutique to 8th Street four months ago, but he has been part of the DTLA fashion scene for over nine years. After moving to San Francisco from his native Mexico in 1998, Miguel began designing and manufacturing what would become his namesake line. Miguel Torres focuses on versatility and color, with many multi-use pieces in bold graphic prints.

His new location is a retail storefront with manufacturing space in the back. Everything is made on site, meaning they can tailor any of their garments upon purchase, and they even offer custom made designs. If you see a design you like but you don’t like the color or the print, you can choose from the available fabrics and they’ll make one just for you!

Miguel’s DTLA boutique is an extension of his retail business in Mexico. He carries other LA-based designers as well including jewelry, accessories, and bath and body products.

One of Miguel's most popular and requested items are his handmade hats and fedoras. They come in a variety of colors and styles and like his clothing line reflect the designers love for bold colors and graphics. While the boutique retails mainly women's clothing and accessories, it also offers a selection of children's clothing in fun, girly colors and styles.
